TELAIYA DAM

It is the first dam and hydroelectricpower plant built by the Damodar Valley Corporation across the Barakar River in the district. The dam is 1200 feet long and 99 feet high and is located in an ideal environment. The reservoir covers an area of 36 square kilometres.
