Petro Waterfalls

The top of Mahawar hill is also home to the shrine of Maa Vindhyavasini. Many devotees visit to offer prayers throughout the year. Petro waterfall can be reached by rented/own car if you are staying in close vicinity of Koderma city. Petro waterfall from Koderma city is 56.4 km (1 hour 48 minutes)via Patna Road & 81.4 km (2 hours 21 minutes) via NH20 can be covered by bus up to Satgawan and from there auto can be used if available. Its advisable to start the journey early morning to witness the nature beauty and the availability of bus & auto should be checked in advance
