GHODSIMAR DHAAM
DirectionGhodsimar Dham is located about 70 km from Koderma district headquarters on the banks of the riv er Sakri. It is a Shiva temple where devotees gather in large numbers to perform puja, especially during Shrawan and Purnima. The stone idols of the 4 de ities on the temple premises are ancient. There is a belief that wishes will be fulfilled if one prays sincere ly here. This site is also significant from an archaeo logical point of view. Local priests say that it is even mentioned in the Shiva Puran.
